Exactly after seven months, Prime Minister Imran Khan on November 18, 2019 brought back his former finance minister Asad Umar to the federal cabinet as minister for planning, development and reforms.
Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiyar, who was holding the planning portfolio since the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf came to power, was made petroleum minister after slicing the portfolio of Energy Minister Omar Ayub Khan.
